South Africa’s influential business leaders will ignite the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation at an event hosted by Jacaranda FM and Mancosa on October 4 at Vodacom Dome, Vodacom World, in Midrand.

The event is a chance for individuals seeking to enhance their business skills, including students, business owners and seasoned professionals, to learn about business and explore new ideas.

In keeping with the theme of '“From Dreams to Legacy: Moves for Your Future”, delegates will gain insight from some of the most prominent and prosperous business figures in South Africa, such as Miles Kubheka, Jean de Villiers, Connie Ferguson, and Leanne Manas.

Reflecting on South Africa’s entrepreneurial landscape, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor highlights a dynamic shift in total early-stage entrepreneurial activity (TEA): from 17.5% in 2021 to 8.5% in 2022, before climbing to 11.1% in 2023.

Speaking about the event, Deirdre King, managing director at Jacaranda FM, said: “In the post-Covid era, we’re witnessing a steady resurgence in entrepreneurial activity. Events like this are crucial, offering essential insights, inspiration and practical advice for anyone eager to enhance their future business opportunities.”

After the success of last year’s event, we’re excited to once again provide eager entrepreneurs with skills and insights they won’t find anywhere else in South Africa.”
