South African musician Anele Zondo recently gave birth to her first child and itās safe to say motherhood is treating her well.
The āIngweā hitmaker shared a video of herself in a nude drop waist dress and looked every inch gorgeous.
To celebrate the new chapter and the arrival of her princess, MoƤ, she also gifted herself with a promise ring.
āThis year has been filled with surprises and interesting twists and turns. And I look at myself in the mirror and admire the woman I have become.
āSo I wanted to gift myself with something that I can look at and feel that essence as āpretty promiseā and a commitment to myself. I say yes to being the best version of myself every day,ā she wrote on Instagram.
Her followers and colleagues in the entertainment industry congratulated her for romanticising her life and being a first-time mom.
āCongrats, sweets. We thank God for your and the babyās safety throughout the labour and birthing. God is good. May He continue to cover yāall with love, protection and grace,ā said Refilwe Modiselle.
The musician also shared another video of herself draped in a figure-hugging dress to show off her hourglass figure, proving that she has great genes, thatās why her body quickly bounced back after giving birth.
And while her followers praised her, they also reminded other women who recently gave birth not to pressure themselves because bodies are different and will not recover the same.
āOh, honestly, no shade to her. She has always had a banging body, this was not to troll her or anything. Itās just your body grows another being for a whole nine months -- lungs, hands, and everything grows.
