SOCHI – Host nation Russia and Croatia were locked at 1-1 at half-time in their World Cup quarter-final in Sochi on Friday as they compete for the right to play England in the semis.
Earlier on Saturday, England advanced to the semi-finals when they beat Sweden (0-2) at the Cosmos Arena.
Hosts Russia stunned Croatia when they scored first in the fourth and final quarter-final match, but Croatia leveled the score shortly thereafter.
