DURBAN – Eish, it’s a million miles an hour with all that’s on our screens these days.

But we have small disruptions with our ugesi suppliers on strike, making us shed loads while all the footy is on! Let us hope that by the end of today, they have reached a settlement that makes all the people happy.

Asiqaleni nge-rugby, as it is the last round of some saucy series around the world. Well, who would have thought our BokBoks would be going for a clean sweep of the mighty England? Not just keeping up with the Joneses, we are klapping Eddie and his Roses.

Rassie and team have done a sterling job; big up to the new skipper Siya Kolisi, all the newcomers and senior players who have stood up in a hearty Test series against one of the world’s best spanne.

So, the question begs; do we, in fact, feature with a chance in 2019? Let’s chat about that at a later stage, kids. The Bones pick Mzansi for another win at ‘a wetter’ Cape Town (the dams have risen, ne Saddles?). So, let’s make it rain, Bokkies, and bring out some flair.

With both teams ringing the changes, for their own various reasons, we can also take a chance on punts and take the spread of -5 points at 9/10.

Then it’s on to the series that has been a bit of a disappointment – due to the refs and the rules of “taking the ball in the air”. New Zealand vs France would have been an absolute banger without a card in each match.

That ruined the series – and chowed my bets two weeks on the trot. Just ask Ron! My bookie has the All Blacks at -24 points for the match, so let’s go with one last dip. The Bones say the French, sans inglorious Captain Bastareaud, should get the generous +24 at 9/10.

Then the cracker from Down Under; Ozzies vs The Irish. Mina, I would like an Irish win, but The Bones be flashing canary, Papa. Australia are 14/10 for a straight win, which is quite the price – believe me!

The resurgent Ireland are 5/10, if you fancy Jonathan Sexton’s boot to deliver thine from evil. The spread is 4 points – so Australia +4 may be the waar, ek sê.

The World Cup has been a ripper, kids. We have had some classic upsets already, and we are still vorming up with the vodka.

I am sure my predictions last week had some fickle spirits calling for The Bones to be thrown out the window! Forgive me good people. No excuses, let’s start over.

[Side note: I am sure the bookies are smiling at all those upsets. And whoever got those results right should come and replace this Sangoma with immediate effect, asseblief. Terms and conditions apply!]

Just like the World Cup, let’s rush through the tips for the top matches this week. Tonight is Nigeria’s last dip to stay alive against a resilient Iceland, who drew with Messi’s men.

Unfortunately, I don’t see an African win here. At best a draw – but those Vikings from a village of 350 000 are like a team of Duane Vermeulens! They are 18/10 the pair and a draw at 2/1.

Belgium (3/10), get in and add Mexico at 7/10, Germany at 4/10 with England 2/10, Spain 4/10 and Portugal 8/10. Bundle all these up, add a little rugger and it’s a Wu-tang! Google it.

Sangoma and his mphepho, over and out!
