German tuning firm G-Power has a thing for pushing the performance envelope of the BMWs it tinkers with and its latest creation claims to be the world's fastest Beemer.
Enter the G1 V8 Hurricane RS. Its name might be a mouthful but then so are its performance numbers.
Zero to 100km/h in 4.4 seconds, 0-200 in just 12.7 secs and a supercar-slaying top speed of 330km/h.
How is this achieved?
By shoehorning the BMW M3's 4-litre V8 motor into the 1 Series M Coupé's relatively short engine bay. But wait, that engine's 309kW output simply wouldn't do.
So they've strapped a supercharger to it, as well as a new stainless steel exhaust system that, along with other mods, raises its maximum outputs to 441kW at 7800rpm and 580Nm at 3900rpm.
The Hurricane package is then garnished with 20-inch 'Silverstone Diamond' as well as a carbon bonnet and boot lid.
