BMW will have a large presence at this week's Pebble Beach Concours in Monterey, California, including a new 400kW Alpina version of the latest 7 Series, the M5 and M6, vintage racing cars and the one and only M8 prototype.
But the biggest star will also be the most unexpected exhibit - a brand-new BMW Zagato concept, the second collaboration between the Blue Propeller and one of Italy's most exclusive coachbuilders.
Details are scarce but, as this teaser shows, the new BMW Zagato is a roadster in the classic tradition, albeit with Zagato's characteristic flair for the unusual.
