The countdown to the 2018 FIFA Soccer World Cup is over and for the next four weeks soccer fans around the world will breath, sleep and eat the beautiful game.

Foodies, bars and restaurants also gearing up for the action, from launching new menus to themed homemade dishes. 

If you plan on hosting any World Cup parties this month and looking for food inspiration, the new Instagram trend, #worldcupfood is where foodies can find and share themed dishes from the participating countries.   

From football dogs to Argentinian red shrimp and even a Russian salad for the health junkies.
