The Carters — international superstars Beyoncé and Jay Z — did not let the media storm around them take away from their daughter Blue Ivy’s big day.
On Monday, Blue Ivy Carter walked the red carpet with her family for her feature film debut in the new Disney film 'Mufasa: The Lion King'.
The 'Alien Superstar' hitmaker, 43, and her 55-year-old husband put on a united front at the major press event appearing in good spirits as they celebrated Blue Ivy's role as Kiara in the new Disney movie.
Beyonce celebrated her daughter in an Instagram post with pictures and in her caption she expressed how proud her family was of Blue Ivy.
“My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining".
The 12-year-old gracefully walked the red carpet, posed for pictures while her grandmother Tina Knowles, 70, fixed her dress.
In a video shared on E! News seen online, Blue Ivy’s parents are cheering her on like proud parents in the crowd. Beyonce also posed with her daughter.
This is the second “Lion King” red carpet, the mother and daughter have graced together.
The family night out comes just after the Roc Nation founder, in an amended court document filed in a federal court, Jay-Z — real name is Shawn Carter — was added to the original sexual assault lawsuit filed in October, which only listed 51-year-old Sean 'Diddy' Combs as a defendant.
The alleged assault on a 13-year-old girl is claimed to have taken place after the MTV Music Awards in New York in 2000, and the anonymous female initially accused Diddy of rape and drugging, and now, the Roc Nation founder is facing the same allegations.
