Guess who’s making a highly anticipated return on the runway? The iconic Victoria’s Secret fashion show!

The brand made the exciting announcement on July 29 on Instagram as they revealed that they are returning for another year.

“Lights, Camera, Angels: The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025 is returning,” the brand captioned their post with a subtle tease as they showcased different models testing a microphone while one model says “Angels”.

The Victoria’s Secret brand also revealed that more information about this exciting event will be revealed soon.

This post sparked a lot of excitement among fashion enthusiasts as well as fans of the brand because the last fashion show was staged in New York last year in October.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned to New York City on October 15, 2024, after its last show, which was staged in November 2018.

This event brought new models and a selection of the original Victoria's Secret Angels from previous years to grace the runway, including Tyra Banks, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Gigi and Bella Hadid.

While Kate Moss and Carla Bruni also made their iconic first-ever appearance for the brand, as they were the first models to walk the runway at 50 years or older.

Among the newer faces who graced the runway were Alex Consani, Valentina Sampaio and the mother-daughter pair, Lila and Kate Moss. The event also featured performances by Cher, Lisa of BLACKPINK and Tyla.

Before the 2024 runway show, this annual fashion show was cancelled in November 2019, marking the end of an era as it did not return in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

According to “Grazia”, the cancellation of the show was due to claims of sexism, anti-feminism, plummeting TV ratings and the lack of diversity and inclusivity.

To add fuel to the fire, the brand’s chief marketing officer, Ed Razek, made remarks about how no one is interested in watching plus-size models on the runway, so they will not be including them on the Victoria’s Secret Show since they have a separate label for them.

Despite its controversial past, fans have expressed excitement last year when they announced that they are returning and even this year as well.

“DIVAS ARE UP!!!” a fan wrote.

Another commented, “Ugh, finally!”
