Excitement is in the air as Springbok captain Siya Kolisi prepares to earn his 100th Test cap.
The Springboks will take on France at the iconic Stade de France in Paris on Saturday, November 8.
This milestone match will make him the ninth Springbok player in history to reach 100 caps. His previous match against Japan last Saturday, November 1, was his 99th cap.
This weekend’s match is extra special, not just for him but for his family as well.
His soon-to-be ex-wife, Rachel Kolisi, and their two kids, Keziah Kolisi and Nicholas Kolisi, will be right there to cheer him on.
Rachel posted a picture of her and the kids at OR Tambo Airport, all set for their French adventure. The picture of the trio quickly went viral on social media, winning hearts all over South Africa.
In the caption, Rachel simply wrote: "SA ✈️ Paris."
Fans were quick to show their support online, sharing comments full of love and encouragement, with some netizens even hoping for a possible reunion between South Africa's poster couple.
Graham Hughes commented on Facebook: "Maybe.... just maybe, a reconciliation?"
Latifa Seeri said, "So excited for you and the kids, am praying for a miracle."
Clement Zinedine Matloha light-heartedly wrote: "Go and support the captain makoti."
Olivier Dupont said: Well done, Rachel! Kiddos will be present for Dad's 100th test cap....family values live on!
The Kolisi family previously spent some time in Paris when Siya played for Racing 92 back in 2023 and returned to South Africa in September 2024.
Now, they’re back in the City of Love to celebrate his super special moment.
