Acclaimed musician, composer, and storyteller Mandisi Dyantyis is set to captivate audiences at the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts on Sunday, 9 March 2025.

Known for his seamless fusion of jazz, Western classical, and African indigenous music, Dyantyis promises a powerful afternoon of music that speaks to the soul.

Dyantyis has earned his place as one of South Africa’s most revered contemporary artists, with a career that spans award-winning compositions, globally acclaimed performances, and sold-out shows.

From his early beginnings in Gqeberha to his celebrated works in film, theatre, and jazz, his music resonates with deep emotion and rich storytelling.

With a performance history that includes collaborations with musical icons such as Jimmy Dludlu, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Moreira Chonguiça, Dyantyis brings a wealth of experience and passion to the stage.

His albums Somandla and Cwaka have been hailed as masterpieces, cementing his reputation as a visionary artist in South African music.
