Two people were shot in a drive-by shooting on the Umgeni and Argyle road bridge in Durban

TRAGEDY struck in Durban on Tuesday as one man was killed and another was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting on the Umgeni and Argyle road bridge.
According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, two men, in their 30s and 40s sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
"One died and the other was transported to hospital with critical injuries. Multiple gunshots had penetrated the vehicle from the front, rear and side.
"People were driving from Argyle towards Umgeni Road when it's alleged that another vehicle drove next to them and opened fire on them. The circumstances surrounding this shootings are unknown. The road has been closed while police investigate," said Jamieson.
At the time of publication, police had not provided comment or further details regarding the incident.
