The DHL Stadium was a picturesque sight on Wednesday evening when Stellenbosch FC beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in their Round 32 Nedbank Cup tie.

It was not long before Devin Titus scorched the Chiefs net with a screamer to put Stellies ahead 2-0.

The Chiefs fans in the stand were stunned by the early onslaught but slowly found their voice in a bid to motivate their team.

Chiefs also started creating chances but could not get the ball into the back of net before halftime.

Stellenbosch FC coach Gavin Hunt realised his team were starting to lose their shape under the Chiefs onslaught. Hunt was forced to make some tactical changes along with bringing on fresh legs.

The dying moments of the game were intense with Chiefs searching for an equaliser, while Stellies were desperate to hang on to their lead.
