Kaizer Chiefs to kick off Nedbank Cup defence against Stellenbosch FC in the Mother City

Kaizer Chiefs, the most supported club in South Africa, can expect massive crowd support in Cape Town next month for the Nedbank Cup clash against Stellenbosch FC.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially unveiled the highly anticipated fixtures, dates, and venues for the Nedbank Cup Round of 32, affectionately known as the Ke Yona Cup.

As excitement buzzes through the ranks of South African football fans, preparations are already underway for what promises to be an electrifying tournament.

The Last 32 stage of the competition will get underway on Wednesday, February 4, and conclude on Tuesday, February 10, with exciting fixtures scheduled across the country.

Defending champions Kaizer Chiefs will feature in the opening match of the tournament, travelling to face Stellenbosch FC at DHL Stadium on Wednesday, February 4. On the same evening, Mamelodi Sundowns will host Gomora United at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Both matches will kick off at 7.30pm.

Two matches are scheduled for Friday, February 6, including Durban City FC against Chippa United and CR Vasco Da Gama versus Luthuli Brigades FC.

Saturday, February 7, will see six fixtures played, highlighted by Tshakhuma FC hosting Orlando Pirates. Elsewhere, FC Cardinals and Jacksa Spears lock horns, Highbury FC face Sekhukhune United, and Army Rockets FC take on Casric Stars. At the same time, Upington City hosts Magesi FC, and Lamontville Golden Arrows welcome Orbit College FC.

On Sunday, February 8, TS Galaxy will face Marumo Gallants, while Hungry Lions and the University of Pretoria renew their rivalry. The fixture list for the day also includes Mkhambathi FC versus Lerumo Lions and Siwelele FC against Richards Bay FC.

The Round of 32 action concludes on Tuesday, February 8, with two matches. SSU M-17 FC will host Milford FC at Dobsonville Stadium, while Polokwane City face AmaZulu FC at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
