The Premier Soccer League announced on Wednesday that the tickets for next week Saturday's Nedbank Cup final between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will go on sale on Monday.
"The tickets will be available from Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite and Checkers stores from 10h00 on Monday morning. Spectators may also purchase tickets online via www.opentickets.co.za," the league said in a statement on Wednesday afternoon.
This gives supporters just five days to buy a ticket for the biggest derby in the country.
The league went on to say that general access tickets will be priced at R150 each, while hospitality packages will also be available. Supporters interested in hospitality packages can can get more information by calling 082 805 3150 or email booking@sail.co.za.
Tickets purchased through unofficial channels and third parties will not be valid for the final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Orlando Pirates, aiming to win a third straight Nedbank Cup title, will be taking on a Chiefs side looking to add some gloss to their disappointing season. Pirates have already won a third straight MTN8 title this season, and are also involved in an exciting battle for the Betway Premiership title against Mamelodi Sundown.
This weekend, the two teams will go head-to-head in a league clash in Johannesburg, setting up the stage for next week's cup final in Durban.
