The transfer window ahead of 2025/26 Betway Premiership season has been quite spectacular thus far, with several clubs already digging into the buffet of available talent.
Big moves and bold statements are being made, as teams look to bolster their squads ahead of the new campaign.
Some clubs have dug deeper into their pockets than others, and here we highlight five of the most eye-catching signings in this transfer window up to this point.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder was a highly sought-after man after impressing in the colours of Polokwane City over the last couple of seasons.
The 23-year-old now links up with a talented Orlando Pirates squad that boasts a wealth of young starlets. With strong past performances and room to grow, Appollis now has a golden opportunity to reach the peak of his promising career. Competing at a higher level than he did at City, this move could be the one that unlocks his full potential.

This is arguably one of the most talked-about transfers of the window — not just for what Mbule can do on the pitch, but also because of the disciplinary issues that has followed him in recent years.
If he can put the distractions behind him and live up to expectations, Mbule could be the signing of the season. He has the talent to help Pirates close the gap on Mamelodi Sundowns after various second-place finishes over the last few years.
Can Ndlovu thrive in Chiefs colours? Former Orlando Pirates star Siphesihle Ndlovu was recently unveiled by Kaizer Chiefs as they prepare for the new BVetway Premiership season. Photo: Kaizer Chiefs

The former Pirates midfielder has made a dream move to Kaizer Chiefs from SuperSport United. He arrives at Naturena on the back of some impressive outings for Matsatsantsa a Pitori, despite the club enduring a tough season that saw them flirt with relegation.
Chiefs, one of the busiest clubs in the window, needed reinforcements after a difficult campaign that ended with a ninth-place finish. Ndlovu will bring versatility and stability to their midfield — something they urgently need.
Establishing quick partnerships in that area will be key, especially after all the chopping and changing that cost them dearly last season.

Chislett arrives with the added intrigue of being somewhat of an unknown quantity in South African football. However, he brings valuable League One experience from England — a division known for its competitiveness.
Chiefs sorely lacked creativity in midfield last season, and Chislett may be the player to fill that void. With ambitions to break into the Bafana Bafana setup, he’ll be eager to make a strong impression in his debut season for the Glamour Boys as they look to restore order and reclaim their status amongst South Africa's big teams.

The former Hungry Lions striker was a standout performer for his side, even as they limped to a 13th-place finish. His efforts did not go unnoticed, and Stellenbosch FC swooped in to offer him a step up to the top flight, and with it, the chance to play continental football next season.
Khanyi netted 18 goals last season, finishing as the top scorer in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. He brings added firepower to a Stellies side that has lost several key players over the past two seasons, and will be expected to fill an important role in their evolving attack.
