South Africa and West Indies look to set SuperSport Park alight once again tonight, as the two sides meet in the second T20I in Centurion with the hosts leading the three-match series 1-0, having won the first match convincingly earlier this week.

Fireworks in Centurion

The last time these two teams met at SuperSport Park, about three years ago, it was a run-fest, with the two teams producing 517 runs, with 35 sixes smashed during that clash.

West Indies batter Johnson Charles and Reeza Hendricks struck centuries during that encounter, and given that Charles has kept his spot in the visitors' squad for Thursday's clash, he will be licking his lips to have another go in the Highveld.

Selection Talks

On Thursday night, all eyes will be on coach Shukri Conrad's selection as Quinton de Kock, Tristan Stubbs and Marco Jansen return for the second T20I, having been rested for the first T20I earlier this week.

The coach's decision with the starting XI on Thursday will paint a vivid picture of how he views his best XI going forward.

With Ryan Rickelton having done a decent job batting at number three in the first match, will he continue at that spot?

What about Corbin Bosch? Jansen returns for selection tonight. Does Bosch then sit out despite having done well in the first match? Can the two all-rounders play in the same XI?

All these questions will be answered onThursday tonight at the coin toss at SuperSport Park.

Conditions in Highveld

The Highveld is known for bigger scores, especially in the shortest format of the game, due to the high altitude. The surface is usually faster and bouncier than the coastal wicket, meaning that the quicks will have an advantage, but so will the batters, as the ball will come nicely to the bat as a result.

South Africa: 1. Aiden Markram (c), 2. Quinton de Kock, 3. Ryan Rickelton, 4. Dewald Brevis, 5. Jason Smith, 6. Tristan Stubbs, 7. George Linde, 8. Marco Jansen, 9. Corbin Bosch, 10. Kagiso Rabada, 11. Kwena Maphaka
