In a new era of South African cricket, meet Lhuan-dre Pretorius, the young prodigy whose stellar performances are already drawing comparisons to the legendary Graeme Smith.

Discover how this 18-year-old is shaping his future and the future of South African cricket in an EXCLUSIVE chat with us on the Indy Sport Show this week.

Pretorius details how his time spent at the Paarl Royals during the Betway SA20, sharing a dressing-room with global legends such as Joe Root and Dinesh Karthik, has benefited his game.

Keeping his feet on the ground during the astronomical rise has also been key for the teenager as he shares with us how he just wants to focus on the present by helping the Titans win the 1-Day Cup, before heading off to England to join Hampshire for this season’s Vitality T20 Blast.

Lastly, Pretorius tells us about how he tried to win a bet, with the prize on offer being a golden watch from teammate Andile Phehulukwayo, motivated him to score his maiden List A century at Newlands.

Pretorius was at his blistering best for the Titans this week, smashing 120 off just 96 balls against Western Province at Newlands on Wednesday.

The powerful left-hander hit 11 fours and seven sixes in a remarkable innings as he blasted the WP bowlers all around the ground.

The Titans scored a superb 337/7 in their 50 overs, with Keegan Petersen (48), Dayaan Galiem (48 not out) and Dewald Brevis (42) also contributing, and Province could only reply with 296, which saw the visitors win by 41 runs.
