The Frances Baard Football Association (FBFA), in partnership with SAFA and under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS), recently launched the Frances Baard FA Under-15 Girls Inter-LFA Football Festival.
This initiative is aimed at giving young girls from the Frances Baard District the opportunity to participate in competitive football, with the aim of fostering both their skills as well as boosting the development of women’s football in our region.
Last week’s round took place in Hartswater on Saturday, March 8 where two clubs from Sol Plaatje, three from Dikgatlong and two from Magareng featured. This weekend, action moves on to Barkly West on Saturday, March 15. Here two clubs from Sol Plaatje, three from Phokwane and two from Magareng will battle for supremacy.
Just a reminder, Kimberley will feature too. On March 29, three clubs from Phokwane, three from Dikgatlong and two from Magareng will take to the field in the Diamond City in the fourth round of the Under-15 Inter-LFA Football Festival.
