The energy will be palpable at rAge 2025 as Monster Energy sets up a dynamic zone at Fourways Mall on December 5 to 7, combining gaming, competition and interactive experiences for attendees.

At Level 8, the Monster zone will feature racing simulators, MMA challenges, a photo booth, and music, giving visitors a space to compete, connect, and enjoy live events. “Monster treats rAge like a meet-up. It’s an invitation to show up exactly as you are, whether you’re a core gamer, weekend button-masher, F1 nerd, fight-fanatic, or just here to see what the fuss is about and plug into the energy that only live events bring,” the company said in a statement.

Attendees can test their skills on racing simulators, compete in MMA strikes, or watch the Call of Duty Invitational at the Monster zone, Level 8, Fourways Mall.

The MMA machine, a highlight from last year, returns for attendees to test their strikes and combos.

UFC champion Dricus du Plessis is expected to participate if schedules align, giving fans the chance to watch a world-class athlete test the machine.

Racing enthusiasts will also be able to compete on three simulators, including one dedicated to McLaren driver Lando Norris. Participants can chase the top leaderboard positions, with Monster merchandise and bragging rights on offer for winners.

The event will host the Monster Call of Duty Invitational, featuring top South African talent competing in 4v4 matches on the new Black Ops 7. Teams including Nixuh, FE4R, Highborn, and Aerial will compete in Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Overload formats for a R25 000 prize pool. “Whether you’re a hardcore fan or just COD-curious, the vibe of a live final day is unreal,” Monster said.
