Cape Town - Oakbay Resources and Energy, which is owned by the controversial Gupta family, said on Friday that Mark Pamensky, independent non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee, had resigned with effect June 10.
The statement added that Pamensky was also a member of the company's risk; nomination; and social, ethics and remuneration committees.
The Gupta family has suffered a series of blows, including the loss of senior staff and banking facilities, amid allegations of political meddling and state capture.
