South Africa wakes to a cold to cool Wednesday, with clear skies in the central interior but cloud cover and showers increasing across the southern and western regions. Damaging winds are also a concern in some parts of the country.
National outlook
Fine and cold to cool in the central and northern interior.
Cloudy with isolated to scattered showers and rain expected in the southwest, including parts of the Western Cape, southern Northern Cape and Eastern Cape interior.
Damaging winds likely along parts of the southern and southeastern coast.
Temperatures remain below seasonal average in most inland areas.
