A VISIT to a beauty salon to have her eyebrows waxed turned into a nightmare for Vanessa Stoltenkamp-Tewary when wax that was too hot was applied to her eyelid and ripped off.
Stoltenkamp-Tewary’s niece, Carla Kalila Satram, said the incident happened at Dream Nails Beauty at Kenilworth Centre on Christmas Eve. Satram said her aunt’s eye was swollen and she was in a lot of pain. Stoltenkamp-Tewary left her house for the first time yesterday.
Dream Nails Beauty spokesperson Lorraine Morris said:
“We have apologised to Vannessa about the incident and will be giving her a full refund for her medical bills.”
