INDEPENDENT Media is looking for the country’s most inspiring young trailblazers.

Last week, the group launched its groundbreaking youth portal and brand, the Young Independents, and one of the flagships of the portal will be the annual 100 Inspiring and Aspiring Leaders.

Group Executive for Marketing and Communication Lutfia Vayej says the group is looking for young community leaders, policy-makers, groundbreaking scientists and innovators, artists and environmental drivers under the age of 35.

Young people between the ages of 18 and 35 can be nominated, either by themselves or by someone else, at www. tyi.iol.co.za by September 30.

An independent panel will review the nominations and publish the names of the 100 by next June at a planned-for youth summit.

In June 2016, The Young Independents will host its inaugural youth annual summit in Gauteng to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Youth Month, creating a powerful platform that will bring together the brightest young people across the continent to effect positive change in society. – Staff Writer
