Bonang Matheba adds another global milestone as the host of the international Miss Cosmo 2025

Media personality, Bonang Matheba has been announced as the host of Miss Cosmo 2025, which is set to take place in Vietnam this coming December.

South African media personality Bonang Matheba is making waves internationally after being announced as the host of the prestigious international beauty pageant, Miss Cosmo 2025, in Vietnam.

The organisers revealed on social media that the media darling will host the grand finale, scheduled for December.

“The Miss Cosmo Organisation is proud to announce Bonang Matheba as the official host of the Grand Finale & Beauty Music Festival of Miss Cosmo 2025.

“An icon of African entertainment and global pageantry, Bonang Matheba brings her signature elegance, confidence, and commanding stage presence to this prestigious celebration of beauty and purpose. 

“With an illustrious career as a television presenter, radio host, entrepreneur, and author, she remains one of the most influential figures in African media today,” the organisation proudly revealed.

The organisation further included some of her international presenting gigs that cemented her name in the industry, such as being the first Revlon ambassador in Africa, being the host of Miss SA and hosting the Earthshot Prize Awards.

The 38-year-old excitedly took to Instagram as well to share the good news with her fans and wrote: “... next stop: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. ☺️🇻🇳. Excited to host the Miss Cosmo 2025 Grand Finale & Beauty Music Festival! December 20th, 2025 at 7:00 PM (GMT+7).”

Flooding her comment section were her fans, who expressed their excitement for her while others are saying Miss Universe should follow next and make her the host of the beauty pageant in the near future.

“Fly our flag higher, moghel! You deserve everything that God ordained in your name. You have always been an international hun, our Queen 🐝🐝💖💖,” @bongzane added.

“Miss Universe host loading,” @zistolive shared.

While @ms_richard wrote: “I can’t wait for the day you host Miss Universe… Go B.”

One would say this has been Matheba’s year because she has celebrated and achieved so much, from gracing the cover of “True Love” magazine to hosting the L'Oreal Paris masterclass and working on a campaign with McDonald’s.
