Rachel Kolisi recently took to social media as she celebrated her son, Nicholas and shared a heartfelt birthday tribute dedicated to him for his 11th birthday.

She shared a carousel of black and white images, which showcase a heartfelt mother-son bond.

What stood out in these images was their pose over the years, as Nicholas holds his mother’s face in almost every picture from when he was a newborn baby, toddler and now in his pre-teens.

She captioned her post: “My miracle baby, and one of the most beautiful gifts from Jesus. Happy birthday.”

Nicholas is Rachel’s firstborn child, and he has a sister, Keziah. As well as two bonus siblings, Liyema and Liphelo (Siya Kolisi’s siblings).

Rachel always takes to social media to share heart-warming birthday tributes dedicated to her children with a touching message

Just a few weeks ago, Rachel took to Instagram to celebrate Liphelo’s 18th birthday and shared a sweet yet short birthday message.

She wrote: “Happy birthday @liphelo.madlingozi 🥹❤️I love you.”

Rachel further shared a carousel of images that showcased the family celebrating at a sushi restaurant in Cape Town on Wednesday, August 13.

Among the pictures was also a handmade card, probably crafted by Rachel and Siya's youngest child, Keziah, that read: “Happy birthday, Phelo. Roses are red, violets are blue, happy birthday to you.”

In addition to the heartfelt birthday celebrations, Rachel was recently honoured at the Panache Women of Wonder Awards South Africa.

The awards shine a light on women who exemplify resilience, leadership and profound contributions across various fields.

To celebrate the award, Rachel took to Instagram to share how grateful she is for the award and to receive this kind of recognition.

“So incredibly grateful to have received an award from @womenofwonder_aw / @panachewowawards. It was such a beautiful evening celebrating so many amazing people doing powerful work in SA,” she wrote.
