"Scorpion Kings Live with Friends" is almost here, and the countdown has begun. With just a few days to go, the highly anticipated concert is set to take over Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Friday, August 29.
This is set to be one of the biggest concerts in South Africa this year, with thousands of fans coming from across all provinces to gather for a full-day celebration of the amapiano music and culture.
Between the pre-show starting at 2pm,, featuring artists like Dlala Thukzin, Blxckie, Vinny Da Vinci, DBN Gogo, and the main event headlined by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small alongside artists like Ami Faku, Aymos, Focalistic, Kamo Mphela, to name a few, the atmosphere is expected to be vibrant and energetic.
With so many people attending, traffic and parking around Loftus Stadium will become a challenge. Taking the train is one of the safest and most convenient ways to travel in order to avoid congestion.
The event is providing safer and convenient ways to travel to one of the highly anticipated concerts of the year.
Fans can take the Gautrain to Pretoria Station and transfer to PRASA trains running directly to Loftus Stadium.
The trains will operate from 1.30pm until 8.30pm, making it easy to arrive in time for both the pre-show and the main concert.
After the show, to ensure fans can enjoy the event without worrying about transport back home, trains will run from Loftus Stadium back to Pretoria Station between 11pm and 1.30am, with the last train leaving at 1.30am.
From Pretoria Station, passengers can connect to the Gautrain, which has its final service departing at 1.45am.
Using the trains allows concert attendees to avoid the stress of driving, parking, or navigating through heavy traffic while ensuring a safe journey home even after late-night performances.
