Comedy extravaganza in Durban: Vafa Naraghi and Riaad Moosa take the stage

Multi-award-winning comedian Vafa Naraghi will be performing in Durban on Friday night.

Multi-award-winning comedian Vafa Naraghi is bringing his inaugural national stand-up comedy tour, "Becoming South African", back to the city where it all began: Durban.

Known for his sharp wit, character-driven storytelling and socially conscious humour, Naraghi brings a rare ability to connect across cultures, communities and generations.

"Becoming South African" is his most personal and powerful production yet, and is a one-man journey through identity, culture and belonging in a country still defining itself.

Where: iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom.

When: Friday at 8pm.

What’s the Point?

Award-winning comedian and actor, Dr Riaad Moosa, is back with his brand-new comedy show, "What’s the Point?"

Known as "The ComedyDoctor” for seamlessly blending medicine with humour, Moosa will take the audience on a hilarious and thought-provoking journey as he grapples with the absurdity of life and the chaotic state of the world.

Where: Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre at UKZN Howard College Campus. 

When: Runs until Sunday. 

A Dance and Music Extravaganza with Flash Entertainers

Enjoy a dance and music show while helping a great cause! The Flash Entertainers' will be performing in aid of the KZN Blind & Deaf Society.

This show will feature Risa Moodley and showcase a mix of modern and traditional dance routines.

Expect lively performances filled with charisma, talent, and colourful costumes that capture the heart of the audience.

KZNPO 2025 Spring Season

Grammy Award-winning conductor Michael Repper will make his debut in Durban at the 2nd KZNPO Spring Season concert.

This evening promises a selection of English, Austrian and German music, featuring classical pieces from the late 18th and 19th centuries, making it a must-see for music fans in the city.
