Alan Committies's "AVALAUGHTA: Standup to Keep the Blues Away!"

South African comedy sweetheart Alan Committie is back with his 28th brand‑new solo show.

If 2025 left you screaming “Nothing on earth makes sense!” daily, this show is basically therapy with laughter instead of bills and worries.

Committie delivers his signature mix of sharp wordplay, madcap physical comedy and fast‑paced japes, skewering everything from Home Affairs craziness and wedding/funeral madness to Italian bus journeys, book clubs, astrology readings, and the universal pain of remembering passwords. Basically, life as we know it, but funnier.

And yes, there will be a flip chart. Because any excuse to draw interplanetary connections is a win. Avalaughta is a comic ride through the absurd, proving that sometimes the only way to survive life’s nonsense is to laugh at it - loudly, unapologetically, and in true Committie style.
