Rowlene opens a new chapter with her latest single “Last Seen”.
“‘Last Seen’ is for anyone who has ever stayed too long, loved too hard or lost themselves in someone else and finally found their way back,” she said, setting the tone for a release rooted in honesty and reflection.
Built on her blend of R&B, the track moves through heartbreak toward healing. It focuses on the moment where confusion gives way to clarity and where self-worth becomes a decision.
The song reflects a shift in how she approaches her music, leaning into openness while keeping her storytelling grounded in real experience.
“The song is officially coming out on March 18, and I am really excited about this release because I have always been a storyteller, but I feel like I am growing into this person that is allowing herself to be a lot more vulnerable,” she explained.
“I am learning to be okay with how people interpret my work because through my art, I am healing more of my inner child and becoming more playful while still being truthful.”
She added that there was a period when she struggled to create.
“For a long time, I could not make music because I felt like too much of my story would be in it. But that is what artists do, we heal through our art. At some point, I started recording again, and this was the first song I made. It felt like a journey I wanted to share.”
The release of “Last Seen” also signals more to come. While it stands on its own, the single points toward a larger project that will expand on themes of identity, growth and emotional understanding. It introduces a body of work shaped by self-awareness rather than past pain.
With this release, Rowlene steps into a phase defined by clarity and intention.
“I cannot wait for people to hear the full album and to see how they connect with it,” she said.
