Giselle Niemand continues to build a wide and active presence in the entertainment world, despite being only fifteen years old.
She works across singing, acting, modelling and dancing and has already moved from early beginnings in Johannesburg to international stages in New York and Los Angeles.
Her growing body of work reflects consistent effort, clear ambition and a path shaped by discipline and curiosity.
With each new project, she strengthens her influence in a competitive industry and develops a voice that is becoming recognisable in its own right.
Her interest in performance first became clear during her early childhood. Family members remember her singing while playing with her toys, often turning simple moments into small performances.
She later described those early memories by saying, “Music felt natural to me before I even understood what performing was. It was the way I expressed myself.”
What began as instinct soon became a structured artistic journey. In 2018, she enrolled in formal singing lessons that helped refine her voice and guide the development of her unique sound.
These sessions shaped the way she approached technique, storytelling and vocal expression.
As she grew older, Niemand began taking part in competitions, community showcases and formal performance events that introduced her to wider audiences.
Each stage appearance helped build her confidence. She has spoken often about the impact of those early performances, saying, “Every stage I stepped onto taught me something new. Even when I was nervous, I felt that music was exactly where I belonged.”

Over time, she expanded her work to include acting, modelling and dance, seeing each form as a way to strengthen her overall craft.
Niemand has now released a new single, “Fake Love”.
The release marks a new stage in her growth as a recording artist and presents a more mature approach to songwriting and vocal delivery.
The track explores themes of heartbreak, clarity and the process of recognising one’s worth. It blends clear pop melodies with expressive vocals that carry the emotional weight of the story.
She explained the origin of the song through a personal reflection: “‘Fake Love’ came from a very honest place. I wrote it during a moment when I realised that not everyone who says they care about you actually means it. It became a song about choosing yourself.”
The track was produced and mastered by Grammy-nominated music producer Manny Mijares, known for his work with artists such as Dua Lipa, Kelly Rowland, Pitbull and Craig David.
Working with him introduced Niemand to a new level of discipline in the studio. She described the experience as both challenging and transformative.
“Manny encouraged me to open up in the booth. He always said the strongest take is the one that carries real emotion. He pushed me to find that balance between strength and vulnerability.”
Recording in Los Angeles gave her the chance to experiment with her sound and explore new creative approaches.
For Niemand, “Fake Love” is not only a song but also a declaration of self-worth. She hopes listeners feel a sense of empowerment when they hear it.
“I want people to walk away feeling stronger. ‘Fake Love’ is a reminder that you do not need to settle for anything that feels false. When something does not serve you anymore, you have the right to let it go.”
She often speaks to young people about the pressure to fit in and the importance of protecting one’s energy. “There are many people who just want to belong. I understand that feeling. But your value does not depend on how others treat you. You get to decide who you allow in your life.”
She believes this release also reflects her personal and artistic growth. Her earlier music has helped her understand her range and identity, but this new project shows her stepping into her voice with confidence.
“I have learned to trust my instincts. That trust is what shaped this song. It helped me show a side of myself that feels real.”
She continues to write new material and sees songwriting as an important part of how she processes her experiences. “Writing helps me understand myself. Even one line in my journal can turn into a story.”

Beyond the studio, Niemand is preparing for a series of live performances across South Africa, while also planning future international appearances.
She is working on additional songs with Mijares and has expressed excitement about releasing more music. She said, “‘Fake Love’ is only the beginning. There is so much I want to explore. Each new project feels like another step on a long journey.”
Her career also includes a growing list of television and live performance opportunities. In July 2023, she performed in Times Square in New York City for the Wanderama TV Show.
Singing in such a visible location was a defining moment for her. “Standing in Times Square and singing felt like a dream. I realised how far I had come from the days when I used to sing in my living room.”
Her television appearances include being a Top 11 performer on “Begin Sing", as well as features on “Expresso”, and other platforms.
Outside her professional work, Niemand maintains a balanced lifestyle. She enjoys creating content for her YouTube channel, gaming, hiking, writing books and dancing. These activities allow her to explore creativity in different ways while supporting her personal growth.
She sees balance as essential, saying, “When I look after myself, I perform better. Rest and joy are part of the process.” She credited her family and team for helping her stay grounded.
“I have a strong support system. They remind me to stay focused and stay true to myself.”
