Grammy Award-winning artist Ed Sheeran has released his brand-new single "A Little More" alongside its official video.

The new song is a part of his upcoming album "Play", set to be released next month.

Underpinned by the blues, "A Little More" holds sharp lyrics and carries a message of self-preservation and moral courage.

Sheeran wrote the song alongside Blake Slatkin, Cirkut, Johnny McDaid and DAVE, whom he worked with on "Nothing On You”.

This track is the follow-up to Sheeran’s single "Sapphire", which he worked on with Indian singer Arijit Singh.

The pair released a special version of the track last month, with Sheeran singing a chorus in Hindi and Punjabi and Arijit singing a verse in Hindi and Punjabi and a chorus in English.

The result was a blissful cross-cultural fusion of languages and cultures, adorning the song’s celebration of love.

Meanwhile, the official video for "A Little More" features "Harry Potter" star Rupert Grint.

Both Sheeran’s and Grint’s fanbases have been piecing the puzzle together over the last week following a series of social media clues, including Grint seemingly accessing and posting from Sheeran’s social media accounts.

Grint first teamed up with Sheeran in the video for "Lego House" in 2011, where he played the character of an obsessive Sheeran fan.

This comedic visual features multiple outfit changes, with Sheeran playing most of the characters throughout, lifts off from where "Lego House" ended.

"At the start of the video, we see Grint being released from prison. Desperately trying to remedy his unlawful past by living a 'normal' life. He keeps seeing Sheeran at his every turn, which begins to unnerve him," shared an official statement.

"Shaking it off, he eventually meets his future wife (Nathalie Emmanuel), culminating with a traditional wedding. However, as Grint’s character pans the church while standing at the altar, he’s not only in for a shock when he sees a sea of wedding guests appear as Sheeran, but also when he lifts the veil of his ‘bride’."

Sheeran took to Instagram to thank everyone involved, especially his "brother from another mother".

He wrote: "I hadn’t worked with @rupertgrint in 14 years since Lego house, so didn’t know if he’d say yes to this idea. But I’m so glad he did. It’s such a fun, bonkers video. Longest video shoot I had ever done at that time, and deffo the most costume changes.

"Shout out to @emilnava for always bringing my mad ideas to life. And @nathalieemmanuel too for being amazing. Rupert, my brother from another mother, thank you for throwing yourself into this, it wouldn’t exist had you said no."

Sheeran’s new album, "Play" will be released on September 12.
