Khuzani's 15 years in the music industry celebration was a resounding success, filling up Carnival City.
The blue nation showed overwhelming support for the King of Maskandi, Khuzani, as the event was sold out. The award-winning musician also made sure not to disappoint his fans with his performance.
Khuzani made an entrance fit for a King, pulling a daring flying stunt that left the audience in awe and even social media users, as videos of the moment trended on various platforms.
This isn’t the first time Khuzani has done a flying stunt; in 2019, at his historic sold-out one-man show at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium, he performed the stunt.
Other artists have performed daring stunts, such as award-winning musician Makhadzi, and who can forget how international R&B artist Chris Brown thrilled audiences at FNB Stadium last year.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Khuzani said: "I started flying in 2019. No one inspired me to do it. An idea came to me that I wanted to fly.
“I started going to Moses Mabhida Stadium for bungee jumping after that. I had the idea of flying during my concerts. I was not inspired by Chris Brown. I was not inspired by Makhadzi. I was inspired by myself."
The success of the Blue Nation Festival in Carnival City has inspired Khuzani to take the festival to other provinces around the country.
“My dream for now is this, but you who will tell the Blue Nation where we are taking the Blue Nation Festival and if we will end up in all provinces it will tell you, this event is yours and what are you supposed to say where we are going, if you say we should go back to Gauteng everything is in your home,” he wrote on Instagram.
