Nigerian musician Innocent "2Baba" Idibia and his new wife, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, are caught in a viral storm after the two were seen arguing on a live feed earlier this week.

The Instagram Live was set up by radio personality Daddy Freeze for 2Baba to clear the air on another viral video of him being arrested in the UK. 2Baba's former associates, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, were also on the Live.

In that video, which was shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok last month, it shows officers speaking with the singer outside what appears to be a retail store before escorting him away with his hands cuffed behind his back.

The arrest was said to be because of an altercation the singer had with Osawaru.

Back to the latest viral video, 2Baba is seen repeatedly telling Osawaru to "shut the f*** up" and is asking her, "What is your problem?"

"You need to just shut the f*** up, you need to shut the f*** up, you need to just shut the f*** up, man. Look what you did," said 2Baba.

Osawaru can be heard replying: "Innocent, they should see us together."

Then Osawaru tried to take the phone away from 2Baba.

Daddy Freeze kept the Live session going in hopes that they would be able to actually start the interview. While this was going on, the other two participants just stared in shock as the fight ensued.

It is still unclear what the two were arguing about.

Meanwhile, Osawaru, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, where she serves as a lawmaker of Egor Constituency, has been summoned by the  Edo State House of Assembly to explain what members describe as "behaviour capable of embarrassing the House".

According to online reports, Blessing Agbebaku, speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, said that Osawaru must appear before the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges within one week to respond to the allegation of misconduct linked to her recent actions.

"This conduct drags the name of the House into the mud, and it is the responsibility of the members of the Assembly to conduct themselves well. This House has members who know what they are doing, and the attitude of our member has brought this House to disrepute, and we will not tolerate it," he said in a statement online.

The clip sparked reactions across social media, as many netizens questioned what happened between the couple.
