Britney Spears enjoys cosy sleepover with the Kardashians: ‘Such a warm, beautiful family’

While the world has been side-eyeing Britney Spears and her chaotic online antics, dancing in crop tops, posting candid statements, deleting social media, and then popping back like nothing happened.

It seems sis is doing okay, though. How do we know? She was recently spotted getting cosy with the Kardashians (yawn).

On Friday, Spears shared a glimpse of the group lounging on a bed with Khloé Kardashian and, wait for it, her longtime manager, Cade Hudson. (Yes, the same Cade who’s been steering Spears' music and career moves for years - so we’re talking business meets bizarre slumber party vibes.)

Kim Kardashian captioned the first snap on her Instagram Story: “Calabasas Nights.” In the photo, Spears sticks out her tongue while Kim puckers her lips, flashing a peace sign, with Khloé and Hudson looking on like it’s totally normal.

The next day, Spears posted a video showing herself nestled between Kim and Khloé, planting kisses on their cheeks while the trio giggled like teens at a sleepover. “Oh, we’re just chilling,” Spears says in the clip, prompting Khloé to joke about the “geriatric bed” they were lounging on.

This is irrelevant information, but Spears reveals the mattress vibrates and dramatically pans the camera to the edge, shouting, “What the f—k! What the f—k!” 

Also making a cameo, Khloé’s daughter True and Kim’s daughter Chicago, who perform a little dance for the pop star. 

Spears captioned the post with a gushy message: “Such a warm, beautiful, kind family… Thank you for allowing me to play with your kids and dinner!!! It was an honour to spend time with you guys!! Happy Holidays.”

And now, I have so many questions: Why is Britney suddenly hanging out with the Kardashians like this? 

Why is Hudson chilling on the bed with them - a business meeting or just casual fun?

Are the Kardashians genuinely fans, or is this some PR stunt? And most importantly… when does Spears’s next crop-top dance clip drop?

Previously, Kim publicly supported Spears during her conservatorship battle, calling the media’s treatment of her “very traumatising” after the "Framing Britney Spears" documentary aired in 2021. However, fans still feel like this is an eyebrow-raising moment with dramatic music in the background.

X user @allthingzabsurd wrote: "Britney looks like she just woke up from 2006, Kim looks camera-ready at 3AM, Khloé looks like she’s babysitting both and we’re all pretending this is a normal slumber party??"

I saw that foot disappear too - unless she’s hiding her toes after skipping pedicure day. 

@x_tiyan also pointed our: "Knowing that Lou Taylor (who was part of Britney’s team pre conservatorship termination) is affiliated with the Kardashian’s makes me go hmm."

The fact Taylor, someone who worked closely with Spears before her conservatorship ended — has ties to the Kardashians is a little eyebrow-raising because it hints at a deeper connection behind the scenes.

Maybe it explains why Spears is suddenly hanging out with Kim and Khloé so comfortably, or why this sleepover feels a bit orchestrated.
