Radio personality Minnie Ntuli is officially off the market after celebrating her traditional lobola ceremony.
Ntuli shared glimpses of the day in a vlog, showing all the preparations and special moments.
In the caption, she wrote: “21/06/25 #BecomingAMrs. Zafika zihambha ngamaSondo. What a beautiful year of blessings. God has been so Good. This career has me missing a lot of family events, but the way my family showed up for me on this day."
"My words had me so emotional, such a beautiful reminder of how loved I truly am. Ngiyabonga mdeni wami, ngiyanithanda (Thank you, my family, I love you). God bless you all abundantly.”
According to reports, Ntuli is marrying her businessman partner of four years. At the end of October, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
Ntuli and her partner, whose name has not been publicly revealed, quietly celebrated their lobola ceremony on June 21 this year.
The announcement of the lobola ceremony quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues.
Sibapiwe Hadebe wrote: “Ohhhh honey!! This is beautiful. God bless your union and your new journey.”
Carol Ofori commented: “Congratulations, Makoti.”
Nonku Williams also offered her well wishes, simply writing: “Congratulations.”
Ntuli has also attracted public attention for reasons beyond her personal milestones. Earlier this year, she was involved in a widely discussed altercation with fellow media personality Londie London.
The incident followed a tense moment on the two-part reunion episode of season 5 of “The Real Housewives of Durban”, where an unaired clip captured a heated confrontation between Ntuli and London.
The clash was sparked when Ntuli referred to London as a “gold digger” who works “lying on her back.”
The comments drew significant backlash, prompting London to pursue a defamation case. Ntuli has since apologised, explaining that she was not in the right frame of mind at the time of filming.
Three months ago, it was reported that London had taken legal action and served Ntuli with legal papers.
