The celebrity baby boom continues as “Big Brother” star Thato Immaculate Mthombeni (née Mokoena) becomes the latest celebrity to welcome her bundle of joy after she stunned fans with joyous baby news.

The radio presenter revealed on social media that she gave birth to a baby boy as she reflected on her pregnancy journey and new chapter as a mother.

Mthombeni shared a video narrating how she suddenly developed an obsession with trying new food and recipes before she found out that she was pregnant.

However, after finding out that she’s expecting, she no longer enjoyed some of her favourite meals and she started feeling nauseous.

She captioned her post: “Hi, I’m a mommy to the most handsome baby boy and when I tell you it’s been a journey and a half to get there… you know what, I’ll just show you.

“I didn’t think that I could love my husband more than I already did, when I tell you my love is overflowing. Also, to my baby K, it’s honestly true what they say. Love for a child is a kind you’ve never experienced before, I am OBSESSED!”

This comes after her husband, Brandon “Gash1” Mthombeni, revealed in August that they are expecting their first child.

After the announcement, the couple kept their pregnancy journey off social media until they welcomed their bundle of joy to the world.

The former “Generations: The Legacy” actress also shared a stunning pregnancy shoot as she wore an off-white ruffled tulle maternity gown that features an off-the-shoulder neckline.

While her husband kept it simple with a blue golf t-shirt and white pants.

Mthombeni’s close friends, family and fans congratulated and wished her all the best on her new journey of parenthood.

“Welcome to mommy-hood… Enjoy every moment, my dear,” @just_ipsyk commented.

“Thato you are a mommy!!! I’m so happy for you,” @_dikeledimanyane wrote.

While @ofentse_matlala_ added: “Omg, congratulations mama.”
