Another week, another celeb says “I do”.

South African TV presenter Claire Mawisa confirmed that she tied the knot by sharing pictures of her beautiful and intimate wedding day.

Mawisa took to Instagram on Wednesday, October 8, as she shared a carousel of images with her husband on their beach wedding and captioned her post: “And so the adventure begins.”

The TV presenter ditched the traditional wedding look, which includes huge gowns or heels and suits that most people go for, and went for what appears to be a Bohemian-themed wedding.

She looked ethereal in a white satin dress that features an open-back design and paired the dress with a cowry shell headdress.

The couple wore matching Comme des Garçons Play Converse sneakers as her husband wore a Louis Vuitton headscarf and poncho, which is a garment made of thick woven fabric with a head slit.

The couple was showered with well-wishes on their love journey from friends, family and fans.

Radio presenter Anele Mdoda shared on X: “2025 is the year of the BRIDE!!!! Congrats @clairemawisa and hubby. God bless your union, and we wish you years and years of being bored on the couch looking for something both of you want to watch on the telly. Andisavuyi.”

While @msxulu wrote: “This is soooo beautiful, Claire. Congratulations and all the best in your adventure. Wow ngaze nga happy (I am so happy) for you bakithi!!!”

@lazolacebe added: “Even your wedding is as uniquely beautiful as you. Congratulations.”

Just like Mdoda said, this year is certainly a year for the bride and I agree because the wedding content is the gift that keeps on giving as more and more people tie the knot.

Whether it’s celebrities or friends and family, every weekend new wedding and engagement content gets posted.

It is indeed beautiful to witness two people decide to take their love story to the next level and embrace each other.
