"Shaka iLembe" viewers were left surprised on Sunday evening when they saw podcaster MacGyver Mukwevho, popularly known as MacG and Mzwakhe Mbuli Jr, known as Robot Boii.

The two appear in one of the opening scenes that feature a large number of extras, but they are unmissable with the camera panning to them. MacG says one word a praise and Robot Boii has a few extra words.

In a "Podcast and Chill" episode, MacG opened up about shooting the scene, revealing it took a whole day to shoot five five-minute moment.

"Now it's our turn, time for me and Robot Boii to shine and I'm like, you know what, I'm put my best foot forward here. This is my acting debut, and I want to make sure I kill it.

"I'm amped up, so now the cameras are on us, the extras, and there I am and all we were meant to say. Robot Boii was meant to do a monologue in Zulu, cause I couldn't do that and all they asked me to do was rally behind our king and say 'Shaya iShaka lena'.

"So the cameras are on us and I'm busy going and during the fight, I'm like 'yes, shaya, shaya'. They like 'cut, yoh bro it's 600 years ago you can't say yes'. "

A year ago, producer and filmmaker and "Shaka iLembe" director Angus Gibson was a guest on "Podcast and Chill" for an interview on his career. During the interview MacG admitted that the real reason why they invited Gibson was becuase they just wanted to be in "Shaka iLembe".

"We just wanted to lock you up in a room and be like yo man we need cameos, we wanna be in 'Shaka 'iLembe'," said co-host Sol Phenduka.

The moment has certainly gotten viewers talking, with many admitting how unexected the moment was but some acknowlegeding how MacG shoot his shot and won.
