During a live segment on Fox News, political commentator Camryn Kinsey fainted and fell off her chair.
She was discussing Vice President Kamala Harris's 2024 election loss when her speech became slurred, after which she suddenly stopped mid-sentence, then collapsed.
Even though host Jonathan Hunt was visibly concerned and called for help, he continued the segment just before they quickly decided to cut to a commercial break.
"We’re just going to get some help here for Camryn. Let me come back to Lydia while we get some help for Camryn here," Hunt said.
"So Lydia, the president ... we’re going to, actually, we’re going to go to a break right here. We’ll be right back."
Following the incident, Kinsey was treated by paramedics at Fox News's Los Angeles bureau and was cleared shortly thereafter.
She later took to social media to address the incident, describing it as an "unexpected and frightening moment."
She wrote, “I want to start by thanking the incredible Fox News team and the EMTs who responded with such speed and care. It was an unexpected and frightening moment, but thanks to their professionalism and kindness, I’m doing well.”
Kinsey assured the public that she was recuperating, saying, “I’m taking it slow, staying hydrated, letting my body rest, and thanking the Lord that everything is okay.”
The incident sparked a wave of reactions on social media, particularly focusing on Hunt's response.
Some viewers criticised him for not physically assisting Kinsey, questioning his decision to continue the live broadcast, leaving others to attend to her.
