When you walk into the One&Only’s Champagne Suite by Dom Pérignon, the first of its kind in Africa, you’re greeted by a bottle of Dom. Your bags will have been brought up to your room, so all that’s left to do is slip into your bespoke Dom P bath robe and enjoy the rest of that bottle with some oysters while overlooking the marina against a backdrop of Table Mountain.
While Biebs might take the Presidential at the One&Only when he’s in town, it’s the experience that sets the Dom P Suite apart. Custom built furnishings, artwork and bespoke linen are just part of the curation that the champagne house had in meeting its global collaboration standards.
As a two-night experience, your weekend itinerary revolves around a series of luxury experiences to activate your senses. Besides the champagne and oysters on arrival, you’ll also be hosted for a paired Omakase menu at the hotel’s Nobu restaurant where recently appointed Head Chef Harold Hurtada took on the daunting task of pairing a menu with Dom’s renowned P2 1998 vintage.
You’ll also be treated to some poolside 2004 Rosé, paired with poolside tapas. We’d recommend picking up a spa treatment while you’re there. The Bastien Gonzalez Duo treatment will take your hands and feet away from long desk hours and the stress of a city life.
Once you return to your suite, it’s worth taking in on its own, with the oversize bath rubs, rain shower and Bulgari grooming offerings.
