Multi-award-winning artist Sjava is set to take fans on a journey through his musical history with " The 2018 Tour", celebrating the music that made 2018 a breakthrough for the artist.
The announcement comes shortly after the release of his "Inkanyezi Live" EP and DVD.
The tour will showcase songs from his acclaimed albums "Umqhele" and "Umphako", which solidified his place in the industry.
The tour will kick off on March 30 in Cape Town at the Green Point Salesians AFC.
From there, Sjava (real name Jabulani Hadebe) will perform across multiple cities, bringing his electrifying live performances to fans nationwide.
Durban’s Playhouse Theatre will host two shows on April 11 and 12, and Pretoria’s State Theatre will follow on May 23 and 24.
The tour will continue to Bloemfontein at the Sand Du Plessis Theatre on June 6, before heading to Johannesburg’s Joburg Theatre on August 15 and 16.
The final leg of the tour will take place in Emalahleni at the @PlayTsogo Dome on September 20.
2018 was a milestone year for Sjava, with the release of "Umqhele" and "Umphako", both of which became modern classics.
Tracks like "Ikhandlela", "Linda", "Izitha", and "Abangani" remain fan favourites and will feature prominently in the upcoming shows.
2018 also saw Sjava win a BET Award and gain international recognition through his feature on the "Black Panther" soundtrack produced by Kendrick Lamar.
In addition to "The 2018 Tour", Sjava enjoyed sold-out success with two live album tours in 2023 and 2024.
The "Isibuko Tour" and "The 2016 Tour" both saw packed venues, with fans treated to powerful live performances of his celebrated albums.
"The 2016 Tour," which highlighted tracks from his "Isina Muva" album such as "Ngempela" and "Ubomi Abumanga", kicked off in September 2024 at Joburg Theatre, with a second leg in Durban in November.
