The Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 house has been filled with drama, romance and strategy, but amid the chaos, a few housemates have consistently shown the skills, charm, and determination needed to win the coveted Umlilo title and the R2 million grand prize.

Housemates Uyanda, Sweet Guluva, and Nsuku have risen to the top of the pack, but only time will tell if they'll be the last ones standing.

Uyanda - the teacher who stands up to bullying

Uyanda, a 24-year-old teacher, has brought a fresh energy to the Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 house. His inspiring story of overcoming a tough childhood and openly telling it on national TV has earned him quite an audience.

His bravery in standing up against bullying and for what's right and fairness has earned him respect. He's also shown a fun side, bringing humour and charisma to the house by showcasing how fun he is to be around, especially at the Thursday pool parties as well as the Saturday night parties.

As a teacher among creatives, Uyanda's perspective is a welcome change because of his profession and his personality. With his unique mix of heart, humour, and determination, Uyanda has become a fan favourite and a strong contender for the Umlilo crown.

Sweet Guluva - the proud Zulu

Sweet Guluva has made a lasting impression on Big Brother Mzansi Season 5. As a proud Zulu man, he's unapologetically himself, and his confidence is infectious.

His romance with Ashley Ogle may have been short-lived, but it showed a softer side to his personality.

Fans love how he proudly reps his culture and doesn't back down from a challenge. He's also shown remarkable emotional intelligence, never getting too worked up about conflicts. And in a surprising twist, he's the only housemate who hasn't been nominated since the first week up until now.

What could be his secret?

Nsuku - the model

And lastly Nsuku, the 29-year-old has become a fan favourite over the past couple of weeks as she has boldly been herself without holding back. As a dark-skinned model, she has been a victim of colourism in the house, but being an aspiring model, she has boldly taken a stand in breaking any standards when it comes to the modelling industry.

Having been bullied by disqualified housemate KayB, Nsuku took it upon herself to come out of her shell and has proudly embraced her loud personality. She has gained quite a strong fanbase as her and Uyanda are the only housemates who have been up since the first week.

The other remaining housemates are Nate, BeeKay, Mshini, Jojo, Swiss, Tyrone, Abobo, Philile and Siphesihle.
