Posting on Instagram last week, the Duchess of Sussex paid tribute to her late pet - whom she adopted in 2015 - with a sweet reel of home videos that included her daughter Lilibet Diana.
Her account has garnered over 1.5 million followers on Instagram within 48 hours. So far she has only had 3 posts.
In the post, which featured both videos and pictures, Meghan is seen on a picnic blanket as her three-year-old daughter stands beside her. With Meghan's arm around her, Lilibet is wearing a pink dress with gorgeous long red locks.
The video and photo montage accompanying the tribute to Guy prominently featured her kids, with footage of Archie walking the dog and a photo of Lilibet playing with him on a sunny day.
As well as the sweet picture, Lilibet's American accent can also be heard as she sings along with mum Meghan in one clip.
This new exposure of the children is a change of strategy, considering that Meghan and Prince Harry have only released a tiny handful of images of their children.
The royal couple have kept Archie and Lili out of the spotlight as much as they can. "As a dad, and as parents, I think consent is a really key piece to this," Prince Harry said in Harry & Meghan. "That if you have children, it should be your consent as to what you share."
Meghan’s very personal post could also represent a desire to boost engagement.
Cynics argue that promoting the new show, due out next week and titled With Love, Meghan, is the real reason why Meghan has suddenly decided to play one of her trump cards and share imagery of her kids. The show has been slated on social media since a trailer was released last week.
